The school is pleased to share in the excitement of another year of positive results for students who have worked incredibly hard throughout the year. Many students are now progressing to their chosen next steps in higher education, employment or apprenticeships.

On behalf of Ann Morgan, Head of Notre Dame and Dave Clift, Head of St Boniface’s, we congratulate each and every member of our joint Sixth Form community, and we are excited to see where our students’ successes will take them.

St Boniface’s celebrates GCSE success

Students and staff at St Boniface’s, part of Plymouth CAST Multi Academy Trust, are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results this morning.

It has been another year of strong results for the school and the entire school community is incredibly proud of what has been achieved. It is pleasing to see that so many of our students have achieved the grades needed to continue their education in our joint 6th form with Notre Dame.

While all students have done well, there have been some impressive individual performances. These include:

  • Melbin Mathew, Joseph Austen, Tuan Erenasayin and Jack Colwill have received stand out results including Grade 8 and 9’s across their subjects studied.

  • A special congratulations to two students Parsa Salehimoghaddam and Kasra Salehimoghaddam, who only recently entered the UK, with very limited English. Despite the language barriers, both students managed to achieve a grade 7 and 8 in English respectively.

David Clift, Head of School at St Boniface’s, said:

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our students in this year’s GCSE examinations. Their hard work, resilience, and dedication have truly paid off, and today we recognise not only the impressive results but also the journey each student has taken to reach this milestone.

A huge well done to all our students – whether you’ve achieved top grades, made significant personal progress, or overcome challenges along the way, your success is worth celebrating. We must remember that this cohort of students started their secondary school journey during Covid. The manner in which these students have overcome such challenges is an achievement in itself.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated staff and supportive families, who have played a crucial role in guiding our students to success.
